Dinner With A View

I rarely, if ever, write about specific meals.  Lately I've taken to doing one blog post for a trip where I offer quick write-ups on all of the dinner restaurants.

But for the second night in a row, here's a dinner post.

I picked Carmen de las Tomases because it has three terraces with awesome views of Alhambra on the hill across the valley.  I had originally booked it for 9:30pm (still an early-ish dinner by Spain standards), but knew we couldn't last till 11:00 or 11:30pm, so I changed it to 7:45pm because that was the only available time.

We no longer had a seat on the terrace but still had a great view from inside.  And, since it was getting cold, being inside was the place to be without freezing.

Here's some photos of our view from dinner:

Alas, the blog won't show a panoramic
photo as large as it deserves.  That
said, click on the picture for the full
effect.  It's worth it!

Palacios Nazaries -- the splendor is
inside, but it's still great on the outside.

The Generalife Palace.

Another panoramic picture to click on.

Oh, in case you are curious, the food was great.
