If the highway speed limit in France is 80 mph (actually 81 with rounding), why can't we in the U.S. be trusted with 80 mph? France: 80. USA: 65. That means we're losing to France!
Our oldest daughter nicknamed me the "Iron Tourist" during our trip to Hawaii in 2005. . .primarily because I believe daylight is for doing stuff while on vacation -- seeing the sights, being active, constant whirlwind of activity.
If I'm going to pay good money to be on vacation, I try to make the most of it -- there is so much to see and do, relaxing can wait for summer evenings at home (well, summer evenings that don't include swim meets or softball!).
