We're now at the point in the blog where I am no longer writing sequentially -- too much going on. I will go back and describe our day in Tierra del Fuego at a later point. It's 5 am -- we've been up for an hour (and we got up after the sun!).
We're cruising slowly through Antarctic Sound, surrounded by huge tabular icebergs -- bergs that are much bigger than the ship. The sun is reflecting off mountains on the Antarctic Peninsula, and here and there, lone penguins are on little ice floes, resting or waddling about.
It's pretty spectacular!
