After the gardens, we moved into the bird section of Isola Madre. The largest of the three Borromean islands, there are a few buildings on it, but nowhere near the number that are on Isola Bella and Isola Pescatori (readers: I hope it is as much fun to read "Isola" as it is to type it.)

A walk in the park of Isola Madre can become a good dream. (Editor: I see what you did there!).
There were multitudes of parrots in cages, and roaming around on their own are many larger birds, including peacocks, white Chinese peacocks, golden pheasants, silver pheasants, and bright yellow pheasants.
The pheasants are all very pleasant.
