Photos From The Alcazar of Seville

These first few pics are random
buildings in Seville.

This deranged lion is above the entry gate to
the Alcazar.  Visting King to visiting Queen:
"They look deranged." Queen: "We
had better be nice, I suppose."

Inspired by this, we are adding similar
wall decorations in our house.

That's some door, he noted archly.

Some sick and dying Spanish king

Quite the ceiling.

Entering the garden.

A waterfall and fountain.

I think this is a lion, but it also
might be a deranged chipmunk.
It appears there was a lot of
derangement back in the day too.

Neptune, using his trident to
scratch his heel, or something.

Part of the Neptune fountain.

The maze was a-maze-ing!

The Giralda from the garden.
Note the lemons.

Orange you glad I took this photo?  Seriously
though, only olive trees outnumber orange trees.

Unlike certain lawyers, these are potted plants.
