If you Google "Lisbon Christ statue" you will see many sunny pictures of the statue. Alas, with the fog, you will not see that in this blog post. It was windy up on the hill, and I almost lost my hat a couple of times. Carol was staggered by the wind once as well.
(Hats are replacable, wives are not. Well, technically they are, but I'm not going through that!)
We had decent, but limited views of Lisbon.
If it looks like the Golden Gate Bridge, it should.
It was modeled after the San Fran landmark.
It does have a lower level for trains, and
pedestrians are not allowed to cross it.
Christ statue in Havana -- been there,
done that. Christ statue in Lisbon,
check that off to. In Rio? Not yet.
