Photos From The Palace Of Charles V

One of the bulls was an iconoclast.

No idea why the lion and the hunter
were high-fiving, but it really changes
my understanding of the times.

So many different designs
of colored glass in the tiles.

The gazelle vase.

Part of a ceiling.

Typical of Moorish decorative arts.

The old "predator killing a gazelle" piece.

This Ionic column is iconic.

This Doric column is, um, Doronic?

Seventeen of the 64 columns in the palace.
