Everything in the palace is stunning.

The photos don't do the intricacies

and precision of the work justice.

to reflect on.

The reflection is so beautiful.

Just some of the 124 perfectly balanced

columns in the Courtyard of the Lions.

And here's the 12 marble lions.

The effect is called a stalactite ceiling.

Dissembled by Christians after the

Reconquista to see how it worked,

it stopped working.  Until fixed

in 2012.

Might be the only place in the 

palace with stained glass.
