Scenes From Old Town Granada

Above the door to the Corral del Carbon.

The gate to the Alcaiceria.

Dome of the actual Granada Cathedral,
not the pretend Glen Cathedral.

One of the doors
in the Cathedral.

This is from Saint Michael killing the
dragon.  It's so small even I could have
killed this dragon.  (St. Michael is
about six times larger than the dragon.)

Editor: Did you plan to end all three sentences with the word "dragon."  Writer: Not on purpose.  I would write even more for the caption, but then it would be "dragon on!"  Editor: Not bad.  For you.

Cathedral columns
are always cool.

Santiago mata Mores.
But Santiago mata Flores
is the woke way to
say it now.  (Ask Carol
or I the story of St.
James killing flowers
in Santiago de
Compostela, Spain.

The double eagle is part of the
coat of arms for the House
of Hapsburg.  Again, very cool.

At Plaza Isabel La Catolica,
Christopher Columbus IS a
hero,  Like he should be.
Meanwhile, Queen Isabel
ignored the king and their
advisors and backed
Columbus with money.
She made an excellent
decision.

Haussmann-esque facade
at the corner of Granada's
Gran Via and Calle Reyes
Catolicos boulevards.

Close-up of the eagle at the top of
the building in the photo above.
