This discovery, by my wife, who appears to have learned a lot more than I did about archaeology on our trip to Egypt, stumbled across this ancient method of communication just outside the city walls.
For those who have never heard of one, it's called "a payphone" and used to be used for important messages. Admire it for its form and function.
