The Tomb of Ramesses VI

This is listed as the Tomb of Ramesses V/VI, but is often shortened to Ramesses VI.  That's because Ramesses V had the tomb built and inhabited it initially, but Ramesses VI, the V's nephew, took it over.  It's good to be the King.

The tomb is long and colorful, with something interesting everywhere you look.  Definitely worth buying the extra ticket.

Look at the walls.  Look at the ceiling
behind us.  So amazing.  Okay, now
look at us.  After all, we're the focal
point of the picture!

Hieroglyphics cover walls and walls.

I'm pretty sure the hippo on a boat
thing was more allegorical.

Walk Like An Egyptian.  No truth to the rumor
that this was the inspiration for the song.

Snakes with one head symbolized
protection, although not sure how.

Look at the wings on the ceiling.

Stunning color remains.
